About the Author

This book is the story of the author’s experience aboard a commuter rail train in Los Angeles in 2008, which crashed and has been named the worst train disaster in California history. There were 154 people on board, including the author. Twenty-five people perished.  While a terrible experience, it’s interesting the author can remember every last detail of that day. Oftentimes, when going through a traumatic experience, people remember a small portion of details, they remember nothing, or they remember everything. The author has fortunately (for the purposes of writing this book) remembers everything, but unfortunately, has to relive it whenever he tells the story.
